I love slowing down and spending time in nature, looking around and patiently waiting for the moment when the clouds, waterbirds, wind, light, and colors align in a way that moves me emotionally. Creating my photographs is my daily “looking around meditation.”

I travel deep, not wide, revisiting the same place over and over again – in every season, weather, and time of day. By getting to know a place deeply, I can anticipate the unique moments I capture with joy.

This year at Newton Open Studios I am showing images of some very special and unique cloudscapes I have seen at Newton’s Bullough’s Pond (corner of Walnut and Commonwealth near City Hall). They are available as 5×7 blank note cards and 16×20 and 20×24 limited edition matted fine art photographs, perfect sizes for home decor.
