Ellen Foust

I am a fine art photographer with a mindfulness practice of spending time in nature making photographs. For the past seven years, one of my favorite spots has been Newton’s Bullough’s Pond. In all seasons, all weather conditions, and at all times of day you can find me there enjoying the scenery and transforming what I see into expressive images. My archival photographs tell the story of our local pond and are enjoyed by many people who experience the same warm feelings I experienced when I created them. This year I will have many of my “classic” images as well as new, never-before-printed images.

I love teaching photography! When I am not out making photographs, I can be found at the Brandeis Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (BOLLI), other adult education venues, or on Zoom to a growing number of private students teaching the art and technology of iPhone photography.
