ABOUT THE SHOW:
Ten dancers spanning five generations, ages 10-93, bring this amusing dance/theatre piece to life. Based loosely on Alice in Wonderland, the dancers transform the garden, front porch and driveway into a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, dramatic rabbit hole, and, a Daliesque version of your favorite supermarket. Who knew there was a supermarket at the bottom of the rabbit hole?! With humor, joy and a bit of social commentary, the audience will go grocery shopping with the dancers and travel into a delightful new world.
This show is created with adults in mind, however children over age ten are welcome and would enjoy the show. Seating in the shade is provided and the show is accessible to all.

Props for the dance performance were sculpted by Gregory Steinsieck. For information about his work and garden sculpture visits please see SculptedWork.com

ARTIST STATEMENT:
For more than 30 years, I have been creating dance theatre/events indoors and out, in the greater Boston area, including Faneuil Hall in Boston, and Crystal Lake in Newton, as well as in locations further afield, such as France, the Netherlands and Germany. I delight in creating dances as a response to natural and built environments. I believe that the arts provide a common ground and bring people together through our shared language.
