My exhibit explores photographs presented together with the “lantern consciousness” of childhood, Alison Gopnik’s term for the vision of a baby who sees the world without a spotlight or focus or naming of an object. Falling into the category of abstract expressionist photography, the photographs are of nature and in nature, but without defining constructs.
