Mary Lou Eshelman

Functional Ceramics,Glass,Glass Jewelry

Artist contact info:

I love being in the outdoors, so my work is inspired by the colors of nature -- blues, greens, and whites. I use stoneware clay in white and buff,

I fire in my electric kiln to Cone 6, and all my work is food, microwave, dishwasher, and oven-safe. My work is strictly functional and I enjoy imagining people using these bowls, mugs, plates, and other items every day.

I have studied at The Potters School in Needham and Lexington Arts and Crafts Society, where I am a member of the Ceramics Guild. I am particularly attracted to and inspired by the work and philosophy of Warren Mackenzie.
