My background is in drawing, but my favorite medium is watercolor. I love its lucidity and unpredictability. Sometimes I combine watercolor with ink; I love the contrast of the the transparent paint and thin, rigid ink lines.

I also stay true to my first love, drawing. I love the capabilities of such seemingly limited media as graphite and charcoal.

I teach art to children and adults. I do commission work. I never stop learning and I am a student myself. I am lucky to have received a scholarship at the Academy of Realist Art, Boston and to train with wonderful artists in the traditions of the European Realist Art.
