Ross Ozer

Ross Jay Ozer is a Newton- and Provincetown-based encaustic painter whose work explores pattern, color, and geometry through a meticulous dot-by-dot wax stylus technique. Drawing on quilting traditions, Bauhaus design, and global textile references, his paintings balance structure and rhythm while emphasizing the depth and luminosity of layered wax. After a long career in corporate marketing, Ozer pursued an encore practice in the visual arts, developing a disciplined studio approach and an active exhibition record across the East Coast and nationally.

His work has been exhibited at the Provincetown Art Association and Museum, Concord Art, and the Wellesley Free Public Library, and is regularly featured at Gallery Twist in Lexington. He is represented in Provincetown by Ali Gray Gallery. Ozer has participated in prominent juried outdoor festivals including the Armonk Outdoor Art Show, Rittenhouse Square Fine Art Show, and Coconut Grove Arts Festival. He maintains a working studio in Provincetown and serves as Board President of the Provincetown Theater Foundation. His paintings are held in private collections throughout the United States.

Through layered wax and sustained attention to pattern and color, Ozer creates quietly structured compositions intended for close looking and reflection.
